Bee hotels, also known as bee houses or bug hotels, are ideal places for breeding and cavity-nesting and will attract a variety of native bees such as Yellow-faced bees, Leafcutter bees and Mason bees. Solitary bees such as these naturally nest in hollow spaces, so a bee hotel is the perfect environment for them - particularly in spring and summer when they lay their eggs.

Solitary bees are highly effective pollinators and don’t live in colonies. They make their nests in small holes or cavities that are safe and secure. These rustic wood log hotels are the perfect place to attract Solitary bees!

These amazing bee/bug hotels can be placed in your garden in a sunny position, south or south-east facing. They can be placed securely or hung from a wall or fence.

Holes range from 7mm to 12mm as different species of wild solitary bees and bugs need holes of varying sizes.
